Easy Makeup Tricks

Makeup Tricks
EYES
Prime eyelids all the way up to the brow bone with a cream concealer in a color that matches your cheeks (skin around the eyes has a different tone). Line top lids with a soft black eye pencil and smudge with your finger. Sweep a shimmery mocha tone over lids, a deeper espresso from the outer corner of eyes into the lid crease, and a champagne shadow just below the brow bone. Blend.

FACE
First mask dark circles: Mix eye cream with concealer and pat it along your under-eye area. Combine a few drops of liquid luminizer with your liquid foundation, then blend the mixture onto skin with a brush or sponge.

CHEEKS
For a healthy flush, dust a shimmery pink blush onto the apples of cheeks.

LIPS
For a sheer crimson stain, use your finger to smooth a matte red lipstick over lips. Top with a translucent lip gloss to make it pop.

Water

Water is of major importance to your body. Water makes up more than half of your body weight and a person can't survive for more than a few days without it. Why? Your body has lots of important jobs and it needs water to do many of them. For instance, your blood, which contains a lot of water, carries oxygen to all the cells of your body. Without oxygen, those tiny cells would die and your body would stop working.

Water is also in lymph, a fluid that is part of your immune system, which helps you fight off illness. You need water to digest your food and get rid of waste, too. Water is needed for digestive juices, urine (pee), and poop. Water is the main ingredient in perspiration(sweat).

In addition to being an important part of the fluids in your body, each cell depends on water to function normally. Everyone should drink at least 64 ounces per day, and if you exercise or are overweight, even more.

Kitchen Tips

1.    The correct way to measure flour is scooping it lightly into the measuring cup with a spoon and leveling it off at the top. Dipping motion packs the flour into the cup, giving you more than you really need.
2.    To soften butter quickly, cut it in pieces, put it on a plate and cover with a metal bowl that's been rinsed with hot water.
3.    Freshness- Use aluminum foil to wrap your lettuce and celery.  It will keep them fresh for quite a long time.
4.    Cleaning your microwave, heat a bowl of water on high power for 5-10 minutes. Keep the oven closed for several more minutes to allow the steam to do its magic. Using oven mitts, carefully remove the bowl of water, then wipe the walls of the oven.
